Located in the Legislative Assembly Visitor Centre, The Pehonan Theatre seats up to 80 people and is accessible to visitors with limited mobility. Pehonan is a Cree word meaning gathering place. Our Pehonan Theatre uses a 360-degree screen and 4-D effects in the film Our People Our Province, which celebrates the political and social history of Alberta. The theatre also hosts special screenings throughout the year such as Thursdays TBD To Be Discovered movie nights and other program-related films. These films are projected on a single flat screen.
