Entranced by Steven Spielberg’s T. rex as a child, Neil continued to devour movies and eventually reported on Arab flicks and filmmakers at TIFF and the Abu Dhabi Film Festival. More recently, he’s been supporting EIFF and the Canadian Digital Publishing Awards’ jury for Best Online Video (Mini-Doc). Neil’s work across the non-profit, tech, education, and media sectors has appeared in a mini-doc, ads, shows, televised and online news, podcasts, books, magazines, newspapers, summits, and festivals. Having pivoted from journalism to marketing, Neil now supports SickKids Foundation and the Board at Community Foundations of Canada. One of his favourite annual traditions (two decades, and counting) includes watching collections of Oscar® nominated shorts—and cheering on the rising stars who make them.
